The Mini ERA^® Implant System combines the proven clinical success of the ERA overdenture attachment that has a narrow-body (ie, 2.2 mm) with a self-tapping implant (ie, 3.25 mm). This allows clinicians to immediately stabilize a complete overdenture or protect an osseous graft site on a temporary basis^(14,15)The Mini ERA^® implant System has several features that simplify its use in surgical and restorative implant procedures:

• Its titanium nitride-hardened surface decreases attachment wear;
• Optional ERA^® metal jacket holds the attachment male in the denture base and is sold pre-loaded with a black fabrication male;
• Titanium alloy implant with a nylon male;
• Six color-coded males (ie, white, orange, blue, grey, yellow, red) provide a consistent level of retention⁽¹⁶⁾;
• Black fabrication male with built-in spacer; and
• Low-cost surgical and prosthetic kits.⁽¹⁷⁾
