Course Description:
This course will include clinical lecture and hands-on training which will give you the competence and confidence to offer implant retained overdentures to your patients.
Learning Objectives:
- Review principles of complete dentures relating to overdenture therapy.
- Learn the history of overdenture attachments.
- Understand overdenture options.
- Understand implant strategy.
- Learn principles of patient selection and treatment planning.
- Prosthetically designing cases.
Hands on exercises (Simulated mandible):
- Place 4 small diameter implants.
- Place 2 conventional implants with abutments.
- Perform Pickup using small-diameter implants.
- Perform Pickup using conventional implants.
